Update March 2022

Unfortunately, we haven’t posted any news items for the last two years mainly due to COVID and a change of our web designer/host.
The pandemic stuck and most of our employees were furloughed for several months but a small team of guys were asked to work on jobs for essential customers. Slowly the team expanded and eventually by September 2020 everyone was back full time. Although some employees were unwell, tested positive or were a close contact , thankfully everyone survived and well done everyone for all their hard work through this exceptional event that hopefully we won’t see again.

2020 was a busy year with multiple pipe cargoes being exported from leith, this work continued till May 2021 along with our regular fabrication and engineering services to multiple clients.
2022 similarly has been busy with all departments having a healthy supply of work, long may that continue.
We have continued investment in the Company through the period and yesterday saw the arrival of a HURCO VMX 30 CNC machining centre. Once we get it commissioned, we hope it’ll expand our machining capabilities with larger batch work being produced.
We are also expecting delivery of a new CNC plasma profile cutting machine that will cut up to 30mm thick aluminium and steels, this will reduce our dependence on suppliers who generally take a minimum of five days to supply material.
