Initially the enquiry was for the securing of a single hundred tonne reel, but we were surprised when it suddenly became two large reels! Nothing daunted we turned up and the guys did a great job securing the two reels each with eight stoppers and sixteen dee rings. Thankfully we had another squad on an adjacent quay securing another cargo and they joined in the fun in the early evening.
It was a lovely day and evening, not that we could see in the depth of the cargo hold and it was getting dark when we got off. Each reel is 10m in diameter and 6m wide and currently bound for Australia.
